Yes, you read that right. As if cannabis and healthy eating weren’t already at odds with each other enough, cannabis-infused bacon is here to make the struggle even harder. This is a wonderfully simple recipe poised to replace the Sunday morning wake and bake in no time.
This simple two-ingredient recipe can be prepared with almost no effort In the morning and be stored in the fridge for up to five days (if you have the willpower to not eat them all at once!)
- Cannabis ground fine
Step 1: To begin, preheat the oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit
Step 2: Once the oven is preheated, you will have to decarboxylate the cannabis. To do so spread the ground cannabis around on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet on the center rack and bake for 45 minutes.
Step 3: After 45 minutes, remove the decarboxylated cannabis from the oven. Place your desired amount of bacon on a baking sheet and sprinkle with ground decarboxylated cannabis.
Step 4: Bake for ten minutes then remove the baking sheet and flip the bacon. Sprinkle the new side with more decarboxylated cannabis and bake for another 10 minutes.
Step 5: Once your bacon is done cooking, remove from the oven and enjoy!
NOTE: Do not throw away your bacon grease, pour it into an airtight container and store in the fridge, you have just made cannabis-infused bacon grease which you can use however you’d like!
